Since then he’s graduated from VCC and CDI Colleges in a range of IT related courses. He has over 20 years of experience in IT related fields including PC sales, Sage Act CRM support, and Emergency Operations Centre support during the 2013 Alberta floods. Michael’s other passions is the outdoors. He has been hiking and exploring the Canadian Rockies since he can remember and earned his Chief Scout award after spending many years in the Scouts Canada program. He has taken this passion to the next level and currently trains as a professional Search and Rescue volunteer through SAR Alberta.

Michael’s hobbies include video games, building computers, fixing laptops, hiking, mountaineering, camping, fishing, 4x4ing and various amateur engineering projects. He also has a daughter who shares his love for video games and the outdoors.
